What We Need From You to Quote
Quote quality depends entirely on input quality. In descending order of usefulness:
- A physical sample of the part being replaced. We measure it, produce a drawing, and quote against the drawing. No ambiguity about tolerances or locating features.
- A dimensioned technical drawing specifying media thickness and frame construction, not only outer dimensions.
- Model number plus three cavity measurements. Enough to start, but we will still want a sample approved before bulk production.
- An OEM part number alone. Only workable where the brand publishes dimensions — and many do not. Levoit and Hunter publish none at all, in which case we come back and ask for a sample.
