Venta's classic Airwasher range has no replaceable humidification
filter. If a supplier offers you a "Venta humidifier filter" for an LW-series unit,
that product does not correspond to anything in the appliance. The recurring consumables are

Note the two different efficiency bases in this table. The 99.97 percent
figures are quoted at 0.3 µm; the 99.995 and 99.95 percent figures are quoted at
0.07 µm, which is closer to the most penetrating particle size and is a materially
harder test. Comparing the raw percentages without the particle size is meaningless.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Venta Airwasher need a replacement filter?
No. The classic Venta Airwasher (LW15, LW25, LW45, LW60T, LW73, LW74, LW80 and similar) uses cold evaporation over a rotating disk stack, so there is no disposable humidification filter to replace. Its consumables are the hygiene additive, the descaler, the Hygienedisk ion-exchange disks and VenTabs. Only the AP, LP and LPH purifier and hybrid models use HEPA filters.
What does a Hygienedisk actually do?
It is an ion-exchange softening and descaling disk, made in Germany, that sits in the water bath and reduces scale build-up on the disk stack. Venta rates the Professional and App Control versions at around 3 months per disk and the AeroStyle version at around 4 months, supplied in 2-packs.
Which Venta HEPA grade do I need?
It depends on the model. The AP100 Hybrid takes a cylindrical dual-stage H13 filter rated 99.97 percent at 0.3 microns. The Professional and App Control series take the Premium HEPA14 cleanroom filter, rated 99.995 percent at 0.07 microns under EN 1822. The AW730/735 and AP730/735 take triple filters combining coarse dust, H13 and activated carbon.
How long do the Venta HEPA filters last?
Venta publishes 12 months for the 8020001, 8080000 and 8081000 filters. For the Premium HEPA14, VENTAcel, Premium HEPA13 plus VENTAcarb and standalone VENTAcarb parts it does not publish a service interval; detailed information please contact amanda@ntdeli.top.
Can you manufacture to EN 1822 H13 and H14?
Yes, and we test to the classification rather than to a nominal percentage. EN 1822 defines efficiency at the most penetrating particle size, which is a stricter and more meaningful basis than a headline figure quoted at 0.3 microns. Our EN 1822 guide sets out what each class requires.
